Pre-Suit Mediation
The parties to a divorce or paternity action do not need to file a suit in court to mediate their differences. The pre-divorce period is often a period of high stress, often affecting people both physically and mentally, which can be over¬powering. Mediation prior to a lawsuit being filed and along with the formal litigation that ensues can, in many cases, relieve much of the stress and uncertainty by creating a civilized atmosphere where ideas and thought processes can be calmly explored and shared.
