Why Mediation?

Mediation process is a confidential process designed to facilitate a more informal and less expensive settlement of your issues. The parties to the mediation, that is, the husband or wife or mother or father control the outcome of their needs in mediation. They are the ones who fully understand the history of the relationship and the issues they have between them. They are in the best position to assess what their needs are. They can choose not to place their case in the hands of a Judge, a stranger, who only knows the history of the case from what is presented in a court hearing. Most people don't want a stranger to render a decision that may seriously affect their daily life.
